1 Why a Privacy Policy?

The purpose of the Privacy Policy is to inform you about how MIM TECH uses your Personal Data, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 and the French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978.

2 What is Personal Data?

Personal Data is any information that can directly or indirectly identify a natural person. Examples include a name, postal or email address, phone number, or IP address.

Anonymized or aggregated data that do not allow the identification of a natural person are not considered Personal Data.

5 What Data is collected?

The following Personal Data may be collected, whether voluntarily provided by you or collected during your use of the Site:

Account creation data: title, name, first name, email, date of birth (optional), password; phone number (optional), company (optional), VAT number (optional).

Identification data: email, password.

Information necessary for managing and tracking your orders: postal address, billing data.

Connection data (connection and usage logs, IP address, login, password).

Traffic and navigation history on the Site.

Data necessary for loyalty, prospecting, study, and survey actions on the Site.

We do not process your bank data, which are collected and processed solely by our payment management service providers, Banque Populaire and PayPal.

7 How long is your Personal Data retained?

We retain your Personal Data only for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected.

Thus, we retain in the active database:

  • Connection, navigation, and traffic data for a maximum period of one year, in accordance with legal obligations.
  • Personal Data related to user accounts for at least the duration of your account's use. Data is automatically deleted after three years of inactivity.

It is specified that all of these Personal Data may be retained longer than the aforementioned periods: either after obtaining your consent, or to comply with any legal and regulatory obligations imposed on MIM TECH.

8 What are your rights regarding your Personal Data and how to exercise them?

In accordance with the applicable regulations on Personal Data, you have and can exercise the following rights with us:

8.1. Right of access, rectification, limitation, and deletion

You have the right, at any time, to access the Data concerning you, to request the deletion of this information, the rectification, the limitation of processing, and the right to define general and specific guidelines on how you wish these rights to be exercised after your death.

8.2. Right to object

You also have the right to object to the processing of your Personal Data for legitimate reasons, as well as the right to object to the use of this Data for commercial prospecting purposes.

8.3. Right to data portability

Additionally, you have the right to data portability. You have the right to receive the Personal Data concerning you that you have provided, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and the right to transmit this data to another data controller without MIM TECH obstructing it.

We commit to responding to you as soon as possible after receiving your request.

9 Who are the recipients of your Personal Data?

Your Data is primarily intended to be used by our services to achieve the defined processing purposes (customer service in particular).

They may be disclosed, for some of the aforementioned purposes, and only if such disclosure is necessary, to our partners who may be involved in the processing of Personal Data.

These are the following partners:

  • Our technical subcontractors (hosting).
  • MIM TECH.

10 Is your Data transferred outside the European Union?

Your Personal Data is hosted on servers located within the European Union.

Therefore, the Personal Data processed by MIM TECH is not, in principle, transferred outside the European Union.

11 What security measures are in place to protect your Data?

Respect for data security is a priority for MIM TECH, ensured by implementing technical measures to protect your Personal Data appropriately.

MIM TECH commits to using all necessary means to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the processed Personal Data, and to taking all appropriate technical and organizational measures to limit the risks of loss, distortion, deterioration, or misuse of such data, as well as the risks of unauthorized access to the Personal Data.

This obligation applies to all MIM TECH employees and partners.
